The information
provided to 'www.cruisecyprus.com' either when making a reservation
or an enquiry will be kept confidential and we will not disclose
this information to any other parties apart from those involved in
confirming your reservation. We do not send spam, nor do we solicit
or bombard, in fact you will be lucky if we contact you at all,
apart from confirming your reservation, answering your queries and
trying to help you arrange a pleasant trip. we do not sell, give or
exchange your information at all. never have, never will.
Booking
Conditions
This is the small print, which we hope is big enough.
Prices
Include accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner on
the cruises, Gratuities are not included, neither are excursions or
transfers unless booked with us. If you want the excursions or transfers
or any special arrangements for weddings, birthdays or anniversaries,
please let us know in advance as we are always happy to help.
Accommodation
Cabins are assigned automatically and cabin numbers will be given to
passengers on embarkation and in accordance with the category booked and
paid for.
There are a
limited number of bigger cabins suitable for disabled passengers,
however they are not suitable for wheelchairs. We do need to know at
the time of booking though please.
Children
Aged under 2 years old travel Free if not occupying a bed/berth plus
port taxes for children.
Children aged between 2-12 travel with 50% discount or at the
published fare.
Unused
Services
Any unused portion of these arrangements is neither refundable nor
exchangeable for alternative arrangements.
Shore
excursions
Responsibility of the Owners and Operators of the vessel does not
extend beyond the vessel. When passengers leave the vessel any
arrangements made for them or by them are at their own risk.
Travel
Documents
Valid full passports are needed for disembarkation at either Israel
or Egypt. Some nationalities require a visa to disembark even for a
day trip to both Israel and Egypt. Please enquire when making your
reservation and obtain same accordingly.
**For Non European citizens (except Russians), the entry visa to
Israel will cost Euros 65 p/p
Insurance
The cruise Lines will
not accept responsibility for loss or damage to your baggage, money,
jewellery, valuables or any belongings whatsoever and howsoever
caused. Nor will accept any responsibility for personal accident,
injury, sickness or medical expenses for any nature whatsoever and
howsoever caused. It is strongly recommended that all passengers
obtain insurance to protect their baggage, possessions and valuables
and to cover against personal accident, sickness, injury and medical
expenses etc.
We do have an insurance cover if you are
unable to find better elsewhere.
Responsibility
The Itineraries as published will be followed as closely as
possible, but the Owners reserve the right to cancel or change any
cruise whenever the conditions in the opinion of the Owners render
if necessary to do so, in which case the Owner will not be
responsible for any or expense caused to passengers in consequence.
Transportation
Transportation of passengers, baggage and effects is subject to all
the terms and conditions of the passage ticket issued by the Owners
and are available for inspection at the Company’s offices. A
passenger, by accepting, receiving, using or travelling under this
ticket accepts all conditions set therein whether or not the ticket
was delivered to him or her or to any one else.
Deposits, Payments
& Cancellation Fees policy:
In our effort to ensure the best service for all our collaborators the
following deposits, payments and cancellation fees procedure will apply:
Reservations are considered valid only when the non refundable deposit
of 20% of the total price per person is submitted.
The deposit must be submitted as follows:
1 – 3 days prior to departure - immediate settlement
4 – 14 days prior to departure - deposit within 24 hours
15 – 30 days prior to departure - deposit within 3 working days
31 – 60 days prior to departure - deposit within 5 working days
61 + days prior to departure - deposit within 7 working days
In case the above deposits are not submitted the cabins will be released
without any notice.
The full payment for the cruise must be settled upon issuing the cruise
tickets latest 21 days prior to departure date.
Cancellation fees
(for cancellations a written note is required):
Up to 30 days prior to departure - cancellation fee the full deposit
amount
29 – 22 days prior to departure - cancellation fee 50% of full payment
21 – 7 days prior to departure - cancellation fee 75% of full payment
Less than 7 days prior to departure - cancellation fee 100% of full
payment
Travel Insurance
(optional):
It is strongly recommended to all passengers to obtain the travel
insurance when booking their cruise ticket. The travel insurance covers
against cancellation, loss of baggage, medical expenses, repatriation,
personal accident, loss of embarkation and cruise cancellation. All
details are posted on our website and copies are available at Salamis
offices. The prices are commissionable per person per cruise:
Adults Children (up to 12 years old)
2 and 3-day cruises: €15 - €8
4, 5, 6, 7 & 8-day cruises: €20 - €10
Currency on
board
The currency on board is Euros, but any other currency can be
exchanged at the Purser’s office.
Variations
Itinerary, Vessels and Rates are subject to alteration or
cancellation without notice.
These terms and
conditions apply to Salamis cruises - any other
cruise companies servicing Cyprus that we act as agents have their own
terms and conditions.
